Sunday, October 18, 2009 Southwick, MA - The girls broke out their hats and gloves on what seemed more like a December day than one in mid October. In the middle of the cold rain and wintry mix, the Southwick girls still brought their 'A' game in the regular season finale against Agawam. Emra Toomey started off the scoring early in the first half. Then Liz Tenerowicz added another to make it 2-0. Aelish McGivney and Gilian Ensign helped keep the ball out of the Southwick end while Paige Paige Arseneault played great in goal. In the second half, it was more of the same as Fiona O'Donnell and Korina Simons scored to put Southwick up by 4. That's the way it would stay. The girls from both teams deserve alot of credit for playing hard under such adverse conditions. Final Score - Southwick 4 Agawam 0
